The freshmen suffered a letdown and barely eked out a 2 to 1 overtime victory against Milton Academy at Milton yesterday in what Crimson coach Andrew "Poley" Guyda termed a "tough game." The smaller Orange and Blue played more aggressively and constantly beat the visitors to the ball.
Crimson inside Johnny Teomans started the scoring with a tally in the first 12 minutes of the game. The second period was ecoreless with the half ending 1 to 0.
In the third period Chauncey Bartholet evened the score and the deadlock continued into the first five minutes of overtime. Then Yardling center forward Mauricio Toro, who had missed a penalty kick by yards in the fourth stanza, tallied with a perfect shot on a Milton fullback's error.
