Coach George Roberts' Yardling hockey team will test its strength against the Brown freshmen at Providence tonight. Both squads are undefeated, the Bruins having tied Hope High School and LaSalle Academy by identical 1-1 scores while the Crimson freshmen swamped Melrose 3 to 0 and edged out B.U. 3 to 2.
Reginald N. "Woodpecker" Wood of Marblehead, Mass. was elected Captain prior to the Melrose scrimmage. Wood, who led St. Mark's 1949 hockey team, played freshman soccer last fall.
