Coach Norm Shepard has decided to open with Ed Smith at center, Jim Gabler at one forward, Bill Hickey and Gerry Murphy at guard, but three men are still possibilities for the other forward slot.
Dick Lionette, John Stevenson, and Bob Bramball are the three. Lionette, is tall and will be useful against a big team like Tufts, but he has had trouble with his shots lately. Stevenson in fast, but not a high-scorer. Bramball is a good set-shot, but is still suffering from in cold.

Shepard, who watched Tufts whip Wesleyan, a team the crimson beat 56 to 48, praised the play of Goodwin and his fellow captain, Jim Mullaney, "They are both tall, but very maneuverable," he said.
