The Liberal Union moved into the new Student Activities Center at 52 Dunster Street Wednesday, the first of the fifteen organizations which will have headquarters in the building. Every kind of college club except for language, religious, music, and social can apply for space in the building.
Twenty-three thousand dollars was spent on the building this summer, including 13 thousand which was used for work on the building itself, which also houses the Financial Aid Center. The remaining ten thousand was used to alter and repair the rooms in the Activities Center itself.
Among the clubs which the S.A.C. will contain are the Young Progressives and the John Reed Club, the two left-wing organizations which the New York Journal-American falsely claimed had been banned by the College.
