Man from Philippines Gets Saltonstall Grant

Gregorio B. Abreu will spend the coming year at the University on a Peter Brooks Saltonstall '43 scholarship. The scholarship fund was established by Senator Leverett Saltonstall '14 in memory of his son to further the education and welfare of students from the Western Pacific.

Abreu was born and lives in Maslie, and was graduated from the University of the Philippines in April. He will continue his study of industrial and physical chemistry while here.
