Crews Entrain for Red Top; Seek Revenge for '49 Upset

Varsity, J. V., and freshman oarsmen, their coaches, and sundry camp followers entrained yesterday for Red Top, crew training camp above New London, to prepare for the 98th Harvard-Yale race.

Coach Tom Bolles said before he left that besides rowing, the crews will see movies daily and maybe three times on Thursdays. The film, a tragedy of sorts, is of last year's regatta, in which a supposedly unbeatable varsity and J. V. lost to the Elis. This year the Crimson crews are again highly favored. If they should lose, Bolles vowed, it will not be because of the fatal overconfidence of 1949.

Besides rowing and movie-going, the crew will have the benefit of lush surroundings, sumptuous meals, and a first class croquet course.
