Memorial Hall, traditionally the bane of beauty lovers, will undergo internal renovations, the Department of Building and Grounds confessed yesterday. Precisely what would be involved in the repairs, Irving B. Parkhurst, director of the department, was unwilling to say.

The exterior of the heavy Victorian-Gothic structure, which has been the subject of more abomination than the inside, will probably remain untouched, he said. Sanders Theater and the big hall will be the centers of the renovation activity.
