Columbia students have discovered as easy way to increase the University's scholarship fund: they win radio giveaways. Senior Harold E. Emerson led off the campaign last Wednesday by picking up $2,155 on N.B.C.'s "Break the Bank."
Emerson donated his take to the scholarship drive. Alfred Arees, a P.B.K. senior, immediately mobilized the available brainpower of Morning side Heights. His group plans to enter all the quiz shows in the New York area.
