3 Classes to Vote Today for Council

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors vote at lunch and dinner today to choose Student Council class representatives. Commuters started balloting yesterday at Dudley Hall and will have another chance at lunch today.

Thirty-one freshmen, 17 sophomores, and 11 juniors are running and biographies of all candidates appear on page six. House committee chairmen will select three men apiece to count the ballots in Phillips Brooks House tonight.

Yesterday Council President Edward F. Burke '50 and "lenient abolitionist" William E. W. Gowen '51 made a pre-election statement, agreeing that "the present upsurge of interest in the Student Council will have beneficial results."
