Sixteen members of the United Nations Secretariat Council were introduced yesterday to the University's Seismographic station at Harvard, Massachusetts, where they are spending a four day weekend.
Harlow Shapley, Professor of Astronomy and Director of the Harvard College Observatory, and L. Don Leet '29, Professor of Geology and head of the station, conducted the group through the station.
The Secretariat is composed of secretaries, stenographers, and other civil servants at Lake Success. The Harvard Massachusetts League of Women Voters and 24 other local organizations sponsored the tour.
