Francis Paul Scully, Jr. '51, of Marblehead and Winthrop House, was elected commodore of the sailing team yesterday, and Douglas Ralph Wilde '51, of Arlington, was chosen captain of the golf team.

Scully, who succeeds Pete Putnam, skittered one of the two dinghies in the New England regatta two weeks ago which qualified the Crimson sailors for the Nationals.

Wilde, who succeeds Bob Matson, is a transfer student from Holy Cross. This season he shot in the mid 70's and played in the number two position.

The golfers also announced the winners of the managerial competitions. They are Richard G. Dale '52, of Cambridge and Jack Rossin Ackerman '53 of Purchase, New York and Straus Hall.
