Met Star Slated To Sing at Adams

Polyna Stoska, Metropolitan Opera soprano, will star in a production of "The Gypsy Baron" by the Adams House Musical Society next November, according to William Perry '51, director of the organization.

Johann Straus' operetta will be produced at Rindge, Tech, and will be fully staged. The Chorus and orchestra will be composed of students.

In addition to singing with the Metropolitan and New York Civic Opera, Miss, Stocks appeared on Broadway during the 1946 season, she sang a leading role in the Kurt Well-Elmer Rice musical play, "Street Scene."
