Walter Hastings Hall will undergo extensive revisions this summer when the Law School moves its alumni offices from Langdell Hall into the basement of Hastings.
Assistant Dean Wesley E. Bevins, Jr., announced yesterday that the Law School Association, the alumni records, and the fund office will move into the hall as soon as the janitor's apartment and the storage space in the basement are converted into offices.
August 1 is the date set for the transfer of the offices. Preliminary work leading to the changes is under way now, but most of the rebuilding will not get under way until next month. Modernization of the student's rooms in Hastings will also take place this summer.
The space freed in Langdell will be used for more offices for the faculty which has increased in number this year.
