Princeton broke the Rugby Club's four-game victory streak by scoring in the last minute of play to defeat the Crimson, 8 to 3, Saturday at Princeton. It was the ruggers' last game and, by winning, the Tigers took the traditional series, two games to one. The Rugby Club's record was five wins, four defeats. Harvard's second fifteen also lost, 19 to 0.
Neither team played up to its performance of May 1, when the Crimson won, 6 to 3, in Cambridge.
The Tigers scored early in the game, recovering a Crimson fumble behind the goal line for a three point try. They were unable to convert. Just before the end of the half Hol French knotted the score with a 40-feet dropkick on a penalty shot.
The score remained tied, 3 to 3, until the last minute of the game, when Princeton again fell on a loose ball behind the goal line for another three points. This time the conversion was good, making the score 8 to 3
