Freshman debaters defeated both Yale and Princeton Friday to gain the Ivy League crown. The freshmen, speaking on "Resolved: That President Truman's civil rights program should be adopted within two years," blanked Princeton 3 to 0 here, and conquered Yale 2 to 1 in New Haven.
Samuel B. Potter, Edward H. Fleischman, and Aaron R. Galhamer debated Princeton. George P. Baker, Julius T. Cage and Stephen R. Petschek went against the Yalies.
