Dunlop Is Made Full Economics Professor

Promotion of John T. Dunlop from associate to full professor of Economics was announced yesterday. He will take his new post July 1.

This winter Dunlop served as a member of the three-man Presidential Fact-Finding Commission in the coal strike. He also heads the National Joint Board for Settlement of Jurisdictional Strikes.

Dunlop has taught on the faculty since 1938, when he came here from Stanford University. He now directs a research project studying the relation in Europe between trade unions and governments.
