2 Debaters Enter National Tourney

William C. Backer '51 and Richard W. Hulhert '51 will represent the Debate Council against teams from 34 colleges at the West Point Dehate Tournament which starts today.

The tournament will last three days and will center on four variations of the national topic; "Resolved, That the U.S. should nationalize all basic non-agricultural industries."

Eight debates today and tomorrow will serve as seeding rounds. If Bocker and Hulbert survive these, they will meet 15 other finalists in the elimination round Saturday.
