Three Professors Speak at BU's Weekend Sociological Conference

Three professors and one graduate student from the College will participate in the Eastern Sociological Society conference this weekend at Boston University.

A Demonstration of the Laboratory of Social Relations will be given on Sunday afternoon by Samuel A. Stouffer '23, director of the laboratory.

Harlow Shapley, Director of the Observatory, will be the guest speaker at the conference's annual dinner. His topic will be "The Natural Sciences and the Social Sciences."

Among the discussions on a panel on teacher training and research training in Sociology in the Graduate Schools of the U.S., 1900-1950, will be a talk by Talcott Parsons, professor of Sociology.

Fred L. Strodtbeck 3G will talk on "Husband-Wife Interaction in Three Cultures."
