John G. Morey '52 and Lester L. Ward '52 beat a team from City College of New York in a debate held here last night on the topic: "Resolved, That the U.S. should nationalize all basic non-agricultural industries."

Morey and Ward, arguing the affirmative, maintained that when industry is operated for private profit, the public is, in the long run, the loser.
