Elmer F. Madar, end coach and scout under ex-football mentor Art Valpey for the past two seasons, was named last week as Dr. Eddie Anderson's end coach at Holy Cross. The Crusaders' athletic director, John T. Flynn, said that Madar, All-American end at Michigan and a former Baltimore Colt player, "would be invaluable to Anderson with his knowledge of Ivy teams."
