ADA Picks Schlesinger As New Vice-chairman

Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. '38, associate professor of history, was elected one of six vice-chairman of the Americans for Democratic Action at their convention in Washington last week.

Congressman Franklin D. Roosevelt '17 was also named a vice-chairman, mobile Joseph L. Rauh, Jr. '32 was chosen chairman of the executive committee.

Archibald MacLeish, Boylston Professor of Rhetoric and Oratory, worked on the Foreign Policy Committee at the convention. Alvin H. Hansen, Lucius N. Littauer Professor of Political Economy, served on the Domestic Policy Committee.
