Debaters Beat Navy

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Debate Council defeated the United States Naval Academy in a home debate last night. The Crimson debaters defended the negative of "Resolved: That basic non-agricultural industries in the United States should be nationalized."

Arguing for the Council were Alejandre A. Lichauco '51 and William S. Tyson '51. They based their winning case on the fact that nationalization would restrict personal freedoms, and would result in inefficient production and waste of resources.
