New Club Will Defend Rights of Minorities

Organization of the Harvard Society for Minority Rights was announced yesterday by president Walter C. Carrington '52. The new club is dedicated to the betterment of racial and religious relations.

Contributions of the Negro to American culture will be emphasized by the club, which is an affiliate of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. As a secondary function it will bring to the attention of the student body any cases of discrimination that appear around the University.
