Panel Sees Need For Social Center

Cambridge's college community needs a co-educational meeting place, student speakers agreed last night at a panel discussion on "Sexual Morality in College Life Today."

The two men and three women who served on the panel at the First Congregational Church said a student center is necessary because of the restrictions imposed on Harvard, Radcliffe, and other college students around Cambridge.

The parietal rules enforced in the Harvard houses and the closing hours for the Radcliffe dormitories leave students with no place to go in the evenings the panel stated, and create an unhealthy atmosphere in the community.
