Bridgman Leaves to Give London Lectures

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Percy W. Bridgman 04, Hollis, Professor of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, left yesterday for a two-month trip to England, where he will deliver a series of lectures at the end of April at the University of London.

He will speak on the "Nature of Some Physical Concepts" under the auspices of the University's newly-formed department on the History and Philosophy of Science.

Bridgman's trip means that he will not be in the country next month when the Overseers are scheduled to act on his promotion to a University Professorship.
