Leverett Clinches 'B' League Court Crown

Leverett's junior league basketball team finally clinched the B League championship last night, nearly a week and a half after the close of the regular season. The Bunnies whipped Dunster, 31 to 22.

Yesterday's contest started slowly, but the Bunnies turned a 14-9 halftime lead into a second period rout. Leverett's tall squad, paced by Bill DePree, controlled the rebounds and its zone bottled up the Dunster offense.
