Appointment of Richard P. Wilbur as Briggs-Copeland assistant professor of English Composition was announced last night by Provost Buck.

The position will enable Wilbur, who is author of "The Beautiful Changes and Other Poems," to divide his time between writing and academic duties; he will instruct undergraduates in composition, probably teaching a section of English C.
