Physics Students Flee Blaze In Ceiling of Jefferson Lab

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Fire struck a third-floor ceiling of Jefferson Physics Laboratories at 6:20 p.m. yesterday. Firemen hustled over from their near by station in time to meet a squad of Physics students seuttling away from their ballistics experiment in the smoke-filled room.

The fire was extinguished within minutes after the fivemen had hauled a ladder up through the window and torn away sections of the sound absorbent ceiling. Faulty wining was the culprit.
