The '53 hockey team came from behind to defeat a fast-skating Rindge Tech sextet, 5 to 2, yesterday afternoon at the Arena. Extending its streak of excellent hockey, which reached a high point last weekend against BC, the team racked up its eighth victory against two defeats and one tie.
Rindge got off to an early lead, scoring twice in the first period while two Crimson forwards were in the penalty box, but Harvard went ahead with three goals in the second period. John Dumphy and Douv Harvey drove in the first two goals and Amory Hubbard scored the third. Dunphy and Hubbard counted the last two tallies in the third period.
The starting lineup:
Hubbard, lw; Greeley, c; Grant, rw; O'Brien, ld; Kierstead, rd; Corning, g.
