Forum Series On Industrial Design Starts Tuesday At Baker Library

Starting next Tuesday the School of Design will present a series of forums on "industrial Desiging." The meetings, sponsored jointly with the School of Architecture, MIT, and the Society of Industrial Designers, will continue for the following five consecutive Tuesdays.

Included among the speakers, who have not yet been assigned to particular dates, are Henry Dreyfus, design consultant for the Hall Telephone Company, and Raymond Lowey, designer for the Studebaker Corporation.

Walter B. Teague, president of the Society, is scheduled to open the series next week. Later forum speakers include David Chapman, designer for Montgomery Ward, Harold Van Doren of Beech Aircraft, and Theodore Clement, head of Eastman Kodak's style division.

Also slated to appear are Brooks Stevens, consultant for Willys-Overland, and Gorden Florian; designer for General Electric Company.
