Lowell Institute Airs Education for Boston

Lowell Institute Cooperative Broadcasting Council celebrates this week its third anniversary. The Institute produces educational programs and radio courses over several Boston radio stations.

Members of the council are Boston College, Boston University, Harvard Lowell Institute, M.I.T., Northeastern, and Tufts. Seymour E. Harris '20, professor of Economics, broadcasts "Economics for the Citizen" for the Institute from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday over WBMS-FM.

This week's schedule includes a panel discussion at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday on WEEI: "Is There Still a Chance to Agree with Russia on Atomic Control?" with Domitrl B. Shimkin and Alex Inkeles, research associates at the Russian Research Center, and David F. Cavers, professor of Law. At 10 p.m. Tuesday on WCOP Dr. Edwin B. Dunphy, Henry Willard Williams Professor of Ophthalmology, lectures on eye discuses.
