Promotion of Harry L. Hansen from associate professor to professor of Business Administration was announced last night by Dean David.
An authority on marketing and sales management, Hansen joined the Faculty of the Business School as an instructor in 1936. He was graduated from Haven ford College in 1933 and received his MBA and DCA degrees from the Business School in 1935 and 1939, respectively.
Hansen has held numerous positions in the Business School, serving as assistant professor of marketing from 1939 to 1944, and assistant dean from 1939 to 1942.
Air Force Consultant
From 1942 to 1945, Hansen was special consultant to Headquarters U.S. Army Air Forces and in 1944 was co-director of the Army Air Forces War Adjustment Program, conducted at the Business School.
