Schwebel Speaks Before UN Body Today on Africa

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Stephen M. Schwebel '50 will address this morning's session of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, at Lake Success. He will ask for a commission to study Africa's economic potentiality.

Probably the youngest person to speak before an official U.N. body in its four year history. Schwebel will represent the World Federation of United Nations Associations.

Schwebel is National Chairman of the U.S. collegiate branch of the federation and founder of the Harvard Chapter. He is still on the leave he took last term to attend the World Federation's annual congress in Geneva, Switzerland
