PBH Asks $1500 Of Charity Funds

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Phillips Brooks House will apply for $1,500 from the Combined Charities Drive's unallocated fund, Robert P. Hyde '51, secretary of PBH announced last night.

The undergraduate activities of the House are solely supported by the Combined Charities Drive, which this fall collected only $1,528 for PBH. Hyde estimates this year's expenses of the undergraduate activities at $3,000.

Until this year PBH automatically received 20 percent, up to $4,000, of the entire Charities Drive. This fall, however, students were allowed to specify their contributions and PBH received seven percent of the drive total.
