The championship of the Ivy League will be at stake tonight when the Debate Council meets Columbia in the Dunster Small Common Room at 8:15 p.m. with the subject, "Resolved: That Communist Party members should be barred from teaching in United States universities and colleges."
William C. Hecker '52 and Richard W. Hulbert '51 will defend the affirmative. This is one of the Council's most important debates, since it is at present in first place in the Ivy League. This is the first debate of the spring term.
