Undergraduate tutors at Phillips Brooks House are accustomed to unusual requests for aid, but one that they received recently may be hard to grant. The request was for a student who speaks Dutch well; the tutee knows neither French nor German.
A young mother who emigrated this year from the Netherlands wants a tutor to teach her English. Her two daughters have just started in primary school, and she wants to keep up with them as they learn the language.
Any energetic Dutch-American should contact Anthony Oettinger '51, Chairman of the Undergraduate Faculty Committee. The tutor will have to work about two days each week.
