PBH Seeks Dutch Linguist as Tutor

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Undergraduate tutors at Phillips Brooks House are accustomed to unusual requests for aid, but one that they received recently may be hard to grant. The request was for a student who speaks Dutch well; the tutee knows neither French nor German.

A young mother who emigrated this year from the Netherlands wants a tutor to teach her English. Her two daughters have just started in primary school, and she wants to keep up with them as they learn the language.

Any energetic Dutch-American should contact Anthony Oettinger '51, Chairman of the Undergraduate Faculty Committee. The tutor will have to work about two days each week.
