NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity fencers open their season at 2:30 p.m. today at Ithaca, New York, taking on a strong Cornell team. The Cornell squad has already scored a win this year over Army, although handicapped by the graduation of most of last year's squad.

Captain Ray Frankmann, Joe Vera, and Eric Sollee will compete in the foils for the Crimson; John Gay, Forrest Carter, and Jay Levine in the sabers; and Joe Overholser, Byron Morton and John Smith in the epees.

The freshman fencers meet Andover in the Blockhouse at 3 p.m. today.
