PBK Convenes

The Harvard Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa held its annual winter dinner and meeting last night in the Kirkland House Junior Common Room. Those members of the newly-elected Senior Sixteen who were present were formally inducted.

Kirtley F. Mather, professor of Geology, spoke on "Academic Freedom and National Security," and emphasized the importance of the University of California case. Professor David Kreph of that University was on hand to answer questions.
