For the first time, the Boston Harvard Club is giving a dinner for as football team that lost the Yale game. The affair will be held next Tuesday evening at the club.
M. Greely Summers, Jr. '42, a former varsity player, said last night, "We are giving the party in appreciation of the way the team has scrapped, during the year."
Summers who started at halfback in Harvfard's 14 to 0 win over Yale in 1941, announced that the William Payne LaCroix Memorial Trophy will be awarded for the first time at the dinner to that player who has shown the most spirit.
All squad members who have won a major "H" this season are invited, and eligible for the trophy, Summers said.
