Stouffer Participates In U. of Illinois Panel

Samuel a. Stouffer '23, professor of Sociology, is representing Harvard at the University of Illinois social psychology conference which opened yesterday and will continue through Saturday.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss problems and trends in sociology anthropology, and psychology. George P. Murdock and Ciellan S. Ford, both of Yale, are among the prominent participants.

Stouffer is serving on a round table on "Leadership and Morale." Other topics include "Dynamics of Culture Patterns," "Faintly Impact on Personality," "Inter-group Processes in the Community," and "The Training of Social Psychologists."

The conference is co-sponsored by the University of Illinois Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the Department of Psychology.
