Young Republicans will meet at 8 p.m. tonight in the Winthrop Junior Common Room to recommend universal military service and atom bomb policy for adoption by similar college clubs throughout the country.

Director of the Young Republican National Federation, Arthur Johnson, appointed the Young Republican Club as the nation-wide college clearing house for policy. As such, the club will formulate policies and send them to other college clubs for approval or amendment.

The Young Republicans will then present a policy recommendation for adoption by the National Convention in Boston next June.

At the meeting tonight, Arthur N. Holcombe '06, Eaton Professor of the Science of Government, will speak on "Bi-partisan Aspects of Foreign Policy." Holcombe, who was special advisor to Chiang Kaishek from 1927 to 1930, will probably center his attention on the present Chinese communist crisis in Korea.
