Lynch, Schlesinger to Argue on Communism

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

City Councillor John D. Lynch will debate Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. '38, associate professor of History, on "How to Combat Communism in the United States," at 8 p.m. tonight at Emerson D.

Yesterday, Lynch said that he thought the suggested debate topic was "the good and bad effects of Communism." The sponsors of the debate, the Harvard Democratic Club, said that this definitely is not the topic. Lynch replied he misconstrued the Club.
