Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. '33, associate professor of History, will debate John D. Lynch of the Cambridge City Council Wednesday on the topic: "How to combat Communism in the United States." The debate is sponsored by the H.D.C.

Schlesinger and Lynch clashed earlier this fall when Lynch demanded that the "reduestor" list naming Schlesinger and 67 other Harvard faculty members as Communists or sympathizers, be published by the Council.
