Kirkland Screnaders Boost Deacon Testament Yearbook

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Carrying signs reading, "Back the Deacon's Testament" ten Kirkland residents serenaded their House for 20 minutes yesterday afternoon.

The impromptu demonstration for the Kirkland yearbook began at 2 p.m. and lasted until bucket-wielding fire-fighters took over the field.

The band, supported by Assistant Dean Harlan P. Hanson '48 on the baritone, played "Harvardians," "Ten Thousand Men," and formed a K around the sundial. The afternoon concert ended on a note of triumph with Kirkland's fight song, "Noel."

The yearbook, threatened by low funds, is drumming up support to enable it to continues publication.
