Varsity and Yard Sextets Will Face Strong BC Teams

The varsity hockey team plays its last home game of 1950 tonight when it faces a powerful Boston College squad at the Arena at 9 p.m. This will also be the team's final contest before the mid-western trip.

The freshman team will play the B.C. freshmen at 4 p.m., also at the Arena.

Coach Cooney Weiland has made only one major lineup change, naming Nate Corning as starting goalie. Corning played the first game, against M.I.T., but has been benched since.

Weiland has also abandoned the experiment which saw Captain Lew Preston switch from left wing to center on the first line. Preston will be back on the wing tonight, while Joe Kittrege resumes his center slot.

Bill Timpson, whose play in the B. U. game impressed Weiland, will play right wing on the "sophomore" third line. The high scoring third line of Nat Harris, John White, and Bob DiBlasio will remain intact.

Though the regular back line combination of Dusty Burke and Jack Carman will open the game, sophomore Jim O'Brien has so improved that he has earned a berth on the second defense, next to Bill Blss.
