Fullback Thomas Ossman was awarded the William Paine Lacroix '42 Memorial Trophy for showing "enthusiasm and sportsmanship, loyalty and team spirit" last night at a Boston Harvard Club dinner given honor of the varsity football team.
This dinner broke the custom of honoring only a team which had beaten Yale, because the Club felt that the 1950 football squad had displayed meritorious spirit."
Coach Jordan said that he had found the Harvard alumni most helpful in rebuilding Crimson football to its rightful position in the gridiron world.
