Varsity A and C, Freshman Squash Teams Post Wins

The varsity 'A' squash team yesterday avenged its only loss of the season by defeating the Harvard Club, 4 to 1, at Hemenway Gym. Captain Henry Foster and Dave Watts both won fine victories over ex-Crimson captains John Cornish and Hugh Foster. The varsity 'C' and freshman teams also won their matches with the Harvard and the Business School by scores of 4 to 1 and 3 to 2.

The varsity 'A' summary: Foster (H) defeated Cornish, 15-4, 15-10, 10-15, 15-12; Street (HC) defeated Clark, 15-4, 15-12, 15-10; Nawn (H) defeated Clark, 15-7, 12-15, 15-12, 15-7; Ufford (H) defeated Mattell, 15-6, 15-12; Watts (H) defeated Foster, 15-4, 15-9, 15-7.

The varsity 'C' summary: Elliott (H) defeated Nash, 16-14, 12-15, 15-12, 15-8; Reese (H) defeated Young, 15-6, 15-10, 15-11; Johnson (H) defeated Bender, 15-6, 15-10, 9-15, 15-6; Sears (H) defeated Myerson, 15-6, 15-6, 15-8; Snider (HC) defeated French, default.
