The Harvard Liberal Union Executive Board yesterday extended a unanimous vote of confidence in Secretary of State Dean Acheson, "his integrity and his capabilities."

The vote was taken in view of Acheson's "realistic, balanced, and morally correct leadership" in foreign policy and his "remarkable record of achievements."

The resolution also decried the current attacks against Acheson, terming them "vicious and . . . slanderous."
