After the first few minutes of play, when Adams led 8 to 4, Lowell gained the lead and kept it for the rest of the game. At the half, the Bellboys were ahead, 18 to 11, with Adams scoring only six points for the entire second half.
Al Kenney scored 15 of Adams' 17 points, the only highlight in a game which saw few spectacular shots.
