Teka Bates '51, the first Radcliffe student to be called back into the services, disclosed last night that she has been deferred until after her graduation in June.

At present a member of the WAVE reserves, she served with the Navy from November 1943 to June 1946. During this time she did personnel work, acting as the head resident of a WAVE dormitory, an assistant in a snack bar, a floor scrubber, and a secretary.
